Sessions
Sessions are 45 minutes. Most clients meet with me once or twice each week. At times, more frequent sessions may be appropriate. We decide together what schedule best supports our work.
Session Fee
The fee is $300 for each 45-minute session.
My practice is private pay. I do not bill insurance directly.
I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Because insurance plans vary, please check with your plan about your out-of-network benefits, deductible, allowed amounts, and telehealth coverage.
Payment
Payment is by check at the time of the session. Many clients arrange for their bank to mail a check automatically each week.
Cancellations and Schedule Changes
Your appointment time is reserved for you, and you are financially responsible for the appointments you schedule.
If you need to make a change, I will do my best to find another day and time within the same week. If we are able to reschedule within that week, there is no additional charge.
If I need to change an appointment, I will work with you to find another time. You are not financially responsible for a session I cancel and cannot reschedule.
Forms
Before our first session, I will provide the forms and information required for our work together, including informed consent, HIPAA information, and your Good Faith Estimate. I will need to receive your completed and signed forms before we begin.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your psychotherapy services.
My current fee is $300 for each 45-minute session. Because the length and frequency of psychotherapy vary from person to person, the total cost of therapy cannot be determined in advance.
More detailed information is available on the Good Faith Estimate page.
If this speaks to something you have been longing to understand or explore, I invite you to request a complimentary 20-minute telephone consultation. We can talk about what brings you to psychotherapy, answer your questions, and consider whether working together feels right for both of us.
